Ukrainian author, chef, and co-founder of Cook For Ukraine will be holding a special meet-and-greet and book signing. She will be discussing her latest book, Strong Roots, which explores the powerful multi-generational story of a Ukrainian family navigating war, displacement, resilience, and hope. Maria Dowbenko will interview Olia about the power her family history, the writing of the book and about how to survive and even thrive mentally during dark and difficult times. There will also be Ukrainian folk singing from a local ensemble called Mavky.
